Acts 3

In week three of our The Church series, Sam takes us into Acts 3 and the story of Peter and John encountering a man who had been unable to walk since birth. What begins as an ordinary day becomes an extraordinary demonstration of the power, compassion, and grace of Jesus. Sam challenges us to see the people around us, to extend the compassion we’ve received from God, and to recognize that we don’t have to be extraordinary people for God to work through us. Like Peter and John, we’re called to give what we have—Jesus—and trust God with the outcome. When we surrender our ordinary lives to God and embrace His extraordinary mission, He can use us to bring His kingdom into the everyday moments around us.
