Psalm 51

As we wrap up our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Sam takes us to Psalm 51 and asks a simple but important question: How’s your heart? David realized that his outward actions were connected to what was happening on the inside, leading him to pray, “Create in me a pure heart, O God.” Sam challenges us to examine our why and our worship—what drives us, what has our attention, and whether God is truly at the centre of our lives. Good things like family, work, hobbies, and passions can slowly take the place that belongs to God if we’re not careful. Through Psalm 51, we’re reminded that Jesus doesn’t just want to change our behaviour; He wants to transform us from the inside out and give us a new heart.
