How Close is too Close?

This week at New Hope, Greg concluded our It’s Personal series by teaching about the deep, intimate relationship God desires to have with each of us. He reminded us that while we often keep God at a comfortable distance, God pursues closeness—inviting us not just to know about Him but to know Him as Father, Shepherd, and Friend. Using Jesus’ teaching on the Holy Spirit, Greg emphasized that God’s presence isn’t occasional but 24/7, dwelling within us and leading us into a life shaped by His love. The message challenged us to consider the question: “How close to God is too close for me?”, and to open our hearts to a deeper, life-changing relationship with Him.
