Teach Me Lord to Wait
Jul 20, 2025 • Greg Wyton
Greg continued the series on Selah, focusing on the idea of waiting on the Lord. He unpacked Isaiah 40:31, emphasizing that waiting isn’t passive—it’s an active, intentional posture of listening, serving, and aligning with God. Using the image of a waiter, Greg illustrated how waiting means paying close attention to God's presence, being ready to respond, and engaging with Him in the everyday details of our lives. He encouraged us to approach Scripture slowly, perhaps just one verse at a time, and to journal what God might be saying. The message ended with the reminder that when we wait on the Lord, He renews our strength so we can soar, run, and walk without growing weary.
